Spring time Dots

Hello!

I've been putting off my homework all of Spring Break and really really really need to do it now, but instead I decided to blog!

A simple dotted stripe for Easter! Today we had weather that was spring-like, so I was super happy!

Mint Floral Nails

It's supposed to be spring, but the weather isn't cooperating here!

However, there's no reason for my nails to be stuck in the gloom :)

Some pretty spring florals and stripes over mint!

Let me know what you think in the comments! ^^

Luck of the Irish: Free For All

Hello!

Has everyone fully recovered from St. Patrick's Day? I didn't drink much on Sunday, but I still had a great weekend with lots of shopping!

One of the things I bought was this nail art deco wheel from Icing. It was pretty cheap (around $5) and I got a free shamrock hair clip with it!

It had a really great mix of rhinestones, micro beads, and flat cutouts! So, for the Luck of the Irish challenge "Free for All", I did a different design on each nail!

Star cutouts on my pinky, shamrock cutouts and pearl micro beads on my ring finger, a totally blinged out middle finger, micro bead "necklaces" on the pointer, and my thumb has more shamrocks.

The necklaces were by far my favorite finger! These beads were super easy to work with.

However, I had MAJOR problems with the cutouts. First, they were extremely thick and didn't lay on the nail flat. In the last picture you can see where the stars stick up.
The shamrocks, along with being thick, also BLED! I was really upset when this happened and ended up taking these off Sunday night.

However, the shamrock is the only one I had problems with! I bought another nail art wheel from Icing and haven't experienced any problems with those.

Luck of the Irish: Shamrocks

Hello everyone! I've decided to skip Leprechaun's for now since my shamrock nails were already done!

All hand painted! The base color is Hunter by American Apparel. On my thumb I layered OPI's OY Not Another Polish Joke, with the shamrock in Hunter. On the rest, I used the same OPI to make shamrock shapes.

I'm super excited for tomorrow's nails - I got a St. Patty's day rhinestone wheel at ICING today!

Luck of the Irish: Green

Hello! Time for another challenge! Since this one is so short, I'm hoping to keep up on it. :)

Today's theme is GREEN. My favorite color! I love St. Patrick's Day, both for my Irish heritage and all the GREEN I see!

I have 24 different green polishes(out of 179!). The base on the thumb, ring, and pinky is American Apparel Hunter, topped with lines in Sinful Colors Adventure Island and Urban Outfitters Virgin. The pointer and middle finger are Pure Ice's Sheer Luck over a base of The Face Shop GR502

Bottle shot of Sheer Luck. It's really pretty!!

Galaxy Nails

Hello everyone!

Now that midterms are mostly over, I can nail blog again! These are some galaxy nails I did during the Flip/Flop February challenge but never got around to posting.

These were REALLY hard! I didn't have a sponge, so I used a corner of a kitchen sponge...I still liked the outcome though!

To have fun, I added some crazy triangles/line art. Plus rhinestones! They ended up reminding me of aliens. :)
