Christmas Challenge: Days 2 and 3

Better late than never, right?

My life has been absolutely crazy this past week, both in school and personally. Everything is mostly okay now, but nail art has actually felt like more of a chore than a pleasure during this time! It's not doing my nails necessarily, but trying to find to photograph them before they chip. Finals will be over next week, so I hope to be back on schedule then!

Day 2: Snowflakes

This is actually my second design for this day. My first one was a super pretty glitter bomb, however they chipped way too much by the time I could photograph them so I decided to start over. I still like these though, but the design wasn't quite what I wanted.

On my ring finger I have "Holly" by Jindie nails! I won this (and three others!) in a giveaway from Nails for the Sake of Sanity. It's honestly a great glitter polish - no issues applying or getting the big red hexes out! This is 3 coats of Holly over Essie's Lapiz of Luxury. I used it because it reminds me of snow on a Christmas tree!

Jindie Nails has an Etsy Shop, but is currently on vacation mode to catch up on orders. However, I'd suggest grabbing these when you have a chance!

Day 3: Christmas Movie

These were inspired by the Snow Miser from "A Year Without Santa Claus". I love watching old stop-motion films during Christmas time!

I based these off of his outfit. They aren't perfect, but I still like them! I especially like the glitter combo on my pinky - silver and turquoise glitter over the cream color, with a single layer of the itty bitty blue glitter. It's like ice on my nails! :)

Here's my inspiration picture:

I'll be back soon with lots more to share! I recently received the Cosmo Voxbox from Influenster and I can't wait to share the goodies! I've also bought/received several new polishes I want to share with everyone including some more Jindie Nails holiday minis!

    1. Hehe...I actually had to do a bit of research to get the right movie! I kept mixing it up with other really really similar stop motion Christmas movies, like the Rudolph one!
